I have completed eight years of higher education, four of those years earning a degree in finance at the University of Southern California. I do not regret undertaking any of these studies but the real learning was had in while on the job. In the traditional workforce it is necessary to meet certain credentials in order to get your foot in the door. This is often the case even if you are competent at what you are trying to pursue. This what I often call "playing the game" or jumping through hoops. In some professions this is a necessary evil but for the entrepreneur it is not a requirement.
There is no doubt in my mind that there is no better way to learn something than to jump in and just do it. If you try this alone you will hit many bumps along the road some of them more costly than others. As an entrepreneur it is crucial to have the support of other individuals who have already succeeded and are willing to provide counsel on a regular basis. There is no need to re-invent the wheel! You need to take what is working for other people and implement it in your business. In return it is important to reciprocate what you have been given by helping others succeed as you have.
The question you may be asking yourself a couple of questions right now, "How do I find a truly successful mentor?" and "How am I going to start a business?" These questions plagued for some time. If you have access to successful people and already have a business or an idea for on e then you need to action. Even if you have these resources at your fingertips it requires consistent action and perseverance to succeed. That is exactly what it is all about, you learn to succeed from those who have already succeeded. In return you help other succeed after you have achieved success yourself. There is one important aspect to this business: As you create scale your income increases exponentially. Simply stated the more people you help succeed the more successful you will become.
Where do you find this kind of opportunity? It is available across many different industries and it is know as Network Marketing. You need to do some research and find an organization with a good quality product or service that you can get excited about.
